The base platform is constructed of T6 6061 hard coated black anodized aluminum with 2 steel locating clamp pads. The rings are also constructed of T6 6061 hard coat black anodized aluminum with 4 torx top screws. Ring height from the center of the scope to the top of the Rifle platform is 1.630 inches. The base platform is just over 7 inches in length and has an elevation of .6 inches off the receiver. The height from the center of the rings to the top of the Gator platform is 1.030". The clamping / locating pads are spring loaded to accommodate oversize or undersize receivers. The spring pressure and the locate lugs make the on/off repeatability very accurate.
